My stay at The Chancellor On Currie was quite enjoyable overall. The central location made exploring the city super easy, and I really appreciated the lovely room and friendly staff. However, the lack of communication regarding the loud concert nearby was disappointing, as it kept me awake until midnight.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a great view of the city. I loved that it had full control of temperature. However, I had to step into the bath for a shower, which might not work for everyone.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and attentive, quickly responding to my requests. I did encounter some issues with my access card not working correctly, which was a bit frustrating.
Location
10.0
The location was excellent, just a street away from Rundle Mall and surrounded by great cafes and bars. I found it super convenient for shopping and dining.
Dining
6.0
While in-room dining was quick and tasty, I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast options, especially given the price I paid. The $4 charge for extras felt unnecessary, and I expected a buffet breakfast.
Facilities
7.0
The gym was well-stocked and the pool looked clean, even though I didn't use it. I appreciated the fresh towels and the water cooler outside the gym, but the pool was a bit chilly for my liking.

7.0/10

I had a decent stay at The Chancellor On Currie, primarily due to its prime location near restaurants and shopping. My experience was a bit mixed; while the staff were helpful and I enjoyed a lovely breakfast, the room felt somewhat dated and cramped. Overall, though, I appreciated the convenience and might consider returning.

Rooms
5.0
The room was clean when I arrived, but it felt a bit cramped and outdated. In my case, the furniture made it less spacious, and there were issues like empty body wash and no bath mats replaced after housekeeping. I'd suggest upgrading for more space if needed.
Service
6.0
The staff were mostly friendly and helpful, especially the waitress at breakfast who went above and beyond. However, my check-in was not as welcoming as I hoped, with one staff member seeming a bit frustrated with my questions.
Location
9.0
The location is a major highlight! It's conveniently close to the CBD, dining options, and public transport, making it easy to explore the area.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant, which had generous servings and great coffee. However, there was no in-room dining on Sundays, which was a bit disappointing since there are many local options to choose from.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities included a pool, which is indoors but not heated, making it a bit chilly for a swim. While I appreciated the extensive hours for pool/spa, I found parking to be somewhat inconvenient as it was offsite with narrow spaces.

I had an enjoyable stay at The Chancellor On Currie, where the helpful staff and my lovely suite made for a pleasant experience. The location is fantastic, being just a short walk from the city center. However, I found the late checkout policy a bit frustrating and was disappointed with the TV's limited channels. Overall, I would definitely stay again! 😊

My suite was beautifully presented and immaculate. It featured a very comfortable bed, a bath, and helpful amenities like a fridge and coffee maker. I appreciated the soundproofing despite being on a busy street.
Service

I was impressed with the reception staff, who were very friendly and accommodating. They made my early check-in seamless, enhancing my experience right from the start.
Location

The hotel's location is ideal, just a couple of minutes from Rundle Mall and other attractions. It was easy for me to explore the city during my short stay.
Dining

While the hotel served only breakfast, I found the nearby dining options to be convenient with good value. However, I did wish there were more on-site dining choices available.
Facilities

I appreciated the available amenities, including a gym, pool, and laundry facilities. However, the parking information could have been explained better upon check-in.

I had a very comfortable one-night stay at The Chancellor On Currie. My Executive King Room was spacious and quiet, making it a great pit stop after my trip on the Ghan. However, the reception staff's service was a bit lacking at times, especially during the busy street carnival when I needed a taxi to the airport.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious with a comfortable king bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The writing desk added a nice touch for using my iPad. Although the decor felt a bit dated, everything was clean and functional.
Service
7.0
While some staff were friendly and helpful, others were less welcoming. I had a frustrating experience during check-in regarding my deposit pin, which was unexpected and disappointing.
Location
9.0
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Adelaide, close to the bustling Rundle Mall and a variety of great eateries. It was super convenient with a bus service from the airport stopping just 100 meters away.
Dining
7.0
I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which offered generous portions and was good value, although it felt a bit old-fashioned. I was surprised to find they had run out of yogurt, especially on what seemed to be a quiet morning.
Facilities
7.0
The gym was well equipped, but I found the indoor pool to be quite small. The lack of room service and daytime dining options was also a downside, but there were plenty of excellent dining choices nearby.

I had a mixed experience at The Chancellor On Currie. The location was superb, just around the corner from Rundle Mall, making it easy to explore the city. but the overall stay was a bit disappointing due to a few facility issues. While the bed was comfortable and the hotel had a cozy atmosphere, the air conditioning was inadequate, which made for some uncomfortable nights in the heat.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in was cozy and spacious enough for a brief business trip. but the air conditioning was a letdown, blowing warm air and making quite a racket.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and polite, but there were definitely moments that highlighted a lack of knowledge, especially regarding how to navigate some hotel services.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent, with easy access to public transport and nearby dining options. I loved being so close to Rundle Mall and other attractions.
Dining
5.0
I did enjoy breakfast in the restaurant which was reasonably priced. though it seemed the dining facilities were often closed, limiting options during my stay.
Facilities
5.0
Some facilities were well-liked, including a lovely pool area for kids, but the restaurant's limited operating hours and the noise issues detracted from the experience overall.
